Everyday Stripes: The Effortless Outfit You’ll Keep Reaching For

From the vault: these were taken back during March 2017.

And if I’m being honest with you all, I would still wear this outfit now - skinny jeans and all!

Lucky for me, and anyone else who may have held on to their skinnies, they are allegedly making a comeback. But, if this style of denim is not your thing, you could still wear a variation of this look with wide-leg, barrel, bootcut, etc.

I’ve linked similar styles below!

Ugh, I honestly miss this era of blogging, where we would scope out Instagrammable walls, take outfit pics, and then rack our brains for punny captions. Life, and my Instagram feed, felt so much simpler then, ha.

Schutz | Stepping Up My Style

Another set of photos from the vault. Can you believe these photos were snapped back in 2016!

At the time, Schutz had invited me and a few other influencers to shop at their Fifth Avenue flagship store and share our experiences on Instagram. I remember feeling so appreciative that they considered inviting me alongside some well-known names. They even gifted me a pair of high-heeled suede boots, which I still own and refuse to get rid of for sentimental reasons.

This whole fit was a vibe, to be honest, and looking at these pictures made me realize just how much I loved wearing that polyester ‘eyes’ dress from the now-defunct site Choies. In other words, expect to see more images of me in that dress, ha.

Style The Bump | Comfy in an Oversized Coat

Before you ask, no I’m not pregnant. I’m just sitting on a mountain of unshared outfit photos and decided to share them all when the timing, seasonally, is right.

As mentioned in this post, I LIVED in my Blanqi leggings. The fabric was buttery-soft, and I felt supported throughout my second + third trimester. Aside from that, you could also find me in an oversized coat.

The reason was that I could never find a shirt loose enough to cover my bum to sport these leggings as pants. My solve was an oversized coat. And it worked out since the temps started to drop towards the end of my pregnancy.

The white puffer shown here was rented via Nuuly - such a great solution for expecting mamas who are getting used to their changing bodies. I made use of their rental services throughout postpartum too!
